DOUG HANCE PROMOTED TO PROCESS ENGINEER-MOLDING

Doug Hance has been promoted to Process Engineer - Molding. Doug has been with Stull Technologies for 3 years, during which time he has developed a high level of working knowledge about Stull's molds, molding machines and ancillary equipment. Using this knowledge Doug has helped to develop new closures, materials, colorant and additives.

Doug has also helped Stull reduce non-value added material handling by setting up manufacturing cells-whereby we now go directly from molding to assembly, and in some cases, assembly to lining. Part of his responsibility is to document Stull's molding specifications when a particular part/ mold combination run in a non-approved press style. When needed he also helps calculate direct labor requirements by figuring out the operator credits of molding & assembly machines. Doug has also been instrumental in material silo re-engineering, which now allows Stull more versatility in their raw material purchasing & deliveries.
